TiJaden means “little garden or farm” in creole. Have you ever heard the phrase, “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime?”

We have developed a program that will help a Haitian start his own farm!  Along with farming techniques, he will learn budgeting, saving, and disciplined planning.  All the while working towards independence so he can ultimately help other Haitians work towards achieving the same goal!

​​TiJaden Lakay means “little home farm.” This program teaches and supports families in the mountains to grow vegetables and trees at their own homes, thus starting farming communities.
